yeah, the title's brilliant, I know.
birthday present for a friend!
prompt was "an old statue, something that once resembled glory"
so this is an extremely tall russian statue, after a couple hundred years of neglect, I guess. it's weathered, a little cracked, and some pieces have broken off.
